The Pride leaves Europe and travels into Turkey

Friday, 13.Jan.2012

The Pride continued its expedition across Europe, making its way from Milan to Ancona, once there the team headed for the port where they checked in for their ferry crossing to Greece. With a 16 hour trip ahead of them the team settled down to get some rest for the night.

The team docked in Igoumenitsa on Thursday morning and, after doing some quick reparations to one of the Land Rovers, set off across Greece. The team made good progress throughout the day, settling down to camp just outside Kavala.

After a cold night’s sleep, the Friday began with Bhubesi Pride travelling across the rest of Greece, and crossing the Turkish border. Once successfully into Turkey the team progressed towards Istanbul, passing through the hectic traffic until finding a suitable spot to set up camp for the night.

Bhubesi Pride now plans to make its way towards Egypt, where they will finally enter Africa on their mission to Unite, Empower and Inspire school children in 10 different countries throughout the continent.
