Rowanfield Year 6′s get stuck into Zambia Link School work
Friday, 14.Sep.2012
On Monday, Bhubesi Pride made a visit to Rowanfield Junior School in Cheltenham. The British school – forming a link with Zambian school, Nahumba Basic School in Choma – welcomed programme director Richard Bennett to present a few photos from the team’s visit to Zambia earlier this year.
Class teachers and link coordinators Laura Hamblett and Helen Lockyer, have been engaging pupils in fundraising and class-based activities for the last three years and have been communicating with Nahumba as well, recently sending over some much-needed sports equipment and stationery to help keep the relationship going.
