School linking reviews conclude in Sedbergh

After an action-packed couple of weeks reviewing the ongoing development of Bhubesi Pride’s UK partner schools with their link schools in Africa, the itinerary concluded in Sedbergh, home to the prestigious Sedbergh School.

Forming a link with Ithembelihle Secondary in Port Elizabeth [South Africa], all here are keen to grow the relationship – Sedbergh have already taken a team out to visit the South African township school with Director of Sport, Stuart Oliver. Now they’re planning their second visit: a netball tour under the guidance of Head of Girls Sport, Lucia Sdao.

We met with both members of staff yesterday, reviewing the School’s plans – including another fundraising drive – as well as looking to widen the opportunities for other Sedbergh students and staff to Visit Africa, with the help of personal development and expeditions partner organisation, Wilderness Expertise.
