Bhubesi Pride Foundation’s Board of Trustees are inviting applications from individuals hoping to join us in one of the following roles:

  • Project Manager
  • Media Producer (multi-skilled ‘shooting PD’ who can edit)

The application process for 2019 is now open. Our selection process is rolling. Once application forms are received, we review internally and invite the best candidates for interview.

For 2019, we are looking for one or two Project Managers and one or two Media Producers for our 7-month project between January and September, based on how we choose to utilise our selected candidates.

Project Manager

A highly rewarding, multi-faceted and demanding role with the following responsibilities:

  • Team/Pride member management
  • Expedition management
  • Stakeholder liaison
  • Rugby program coordinator
  • Accommodation management
  • Budgeting & accounting
  • Staff management & appraisals
  • Reporting
  • Activities coordination

Compensation arrangement

  • Flights (to/from UK/Africa) for the start and end of your participation are covered
  • All core expenses in-country covered (meals, bottled water, accommodation, travel, social activities*)

Media Producer

Our Media Producer role is broken down into three core areas of responsibility; filmmaker, photographer and social media manager. The application process for 2019 is now open.

Filmmaker

  • From pre-planning and storyboarding, record every aspect of our expedition and project work, utilising a variety of videography equipment and filmmaking techniques
  • Edit, create and produce regular (30 second – 6 minute) videos, for use on social media and the charity’s website – at least one video per week required
  • Upload to, and manage, our Google drive folders, in collaboration with the charity

Photographer

  • Take photographs regularly throughout the project
  • Upload weekly to the charity’s Google drive

Social Media Manager

  • Take full autonomy in promoting the charity’s varied activities via social media; Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
