Bio

Kiko qualified from Newcastle University with a 1st class degree in Molecular Biology in 2004 and, with her love for the subject, Kiko decided to pursue a career in education. She qualified as a teacher in 2007 and, since then, has been teaching Biology [mainly], Maths and Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE). During which time, Kiko has been a regular member of the sports department assisting with its activity program, as well as being the founding member of ‘The Sustainability Group’.

In 2005/2006 Kiko was a vital part of a six-strong team which successfully helped a tetraplegic friend complete the challenge of driving from the UK to Cape Town, helping to raise £500,000 for spinal injury causes in the UK and Africa.

Kiko says…

“I love Africa, sport and helping those less fortunate than myself. Through my skills and past experience, I aim to only add to the ongoing success of this amazing project.”
