Bio

Lisa developed an interest in rugby during her school days in Northern Ireland while cheering the 1st XV to victory in the annual Ulster School’s Cup competition.  She learnt the game while at university and played for a number of years before deciding to retire gracefully and concentrate on following the game as a passionate supporter of the Ulster and Ireland teams. Lisa is an IRFU Foundation Level coach and is looking forward to using her skills on Bhubesi Pride’s first expedition.

During her career Lisa has been involved in IT integration and business change in the defence, healthcare, manufacturing and utility sectors and has been responsible for managing the successful delivery of many complex and high profile projects. Lisa recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and is thrilled to be returning to Africa as part of such an amazing project.

Lisa says…

“Sport and fitness have played a huge part in my life; I’m really excited to have the opportunity to use it as a catalyst for uniting communities and building confidence in individuals, whilst providing a platform for local teachers to learn new skills to use in the future.”
