Bio

Richie was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. In 2000 he was introduced to the game of rugby, a moment which inspired his future goals. From personal experience, Richie continues to appreciate the full potential rugby has on impacting lives. After a brief hiatus from his playing career, Richie rejoined Dallas Athletic Rugby Club, home to some of USA’s best. In 2009 he became President, at a time when the club was on the brink of collapse. His initiative and energy to bring a team together – along with a group of fine friends – saw the club make the USA Rugby National Championship Series for the next two years. Finishing fourth nationally in 2011, Richie relinquished his role to join Bhubesi Pride, where he’s now intent on inspiring young minds to achieve their dreams on a sustainable platform.

Richie says…

“I am honored at the chance to offer such important [rugby and life] values and opportunities to a broad scale of communities. I am fully devoted to this cause.”
